To all Easties out there, do you know that White Sands is gonna be opening soon? ^_^
If you don't know, now you'll know! hahaha
White Sands is now pitching to become a mall that is not just about shopping, but a place to de-stress and have some quality time with your friends and family :) The most exciting place for me is definitely the upcoming NLB library (because I have spent a lot of my childhood and early teens at the White Sands Library hahaha), it is going to be in 2 stories this time!! Can't wait for it to open hehe ^_^
White Sands will also be carrying out enhanced services such as free umbrellas for shoppers when there is thunderstorms, as well as rental of baby strollers and shopping strollers in the near future :)
Today, I will be sharing with you guys on a few shops which I was introduced to and they are already opened in White Sands :)

The first stop is at the new Soup Spoon Union!! :)
Do you know that Soup Spoon Union comprises of different brands together into 1 store?
I didn't know about that and what makes White Sands' Soup Spoon Union different from the other outlets is that they have 3 brands in store unlike the rest which have 2!!
They comprise of The Salad Fork, The Grill Knife and The Soup Spoon :)
From The Salad Fork, you get delicious and healthy salads where you can choose and play around with the ingredients that you want your salad to have! :)
I absolutely love the dressing of this salad hehe ^_^
Next from The Grill Knife, we have ...
Flank Steak Combo with New Zealand Grass-Fed Beef, Sausage and Pasta in Japanese Curry sauce ($16.80) :)
Couldn't try this as usual due to Beef ><
Grilled Chicken in House Gravy and Soupergrain Quinoa Cauliflower Rice ($8.80)!
The house gravy is really good in my opinion. It's definitely a must try and their grilled chicken is soft but yet at the same time chewy. Great skills! (Y)
Grilled Salmon and Portobello Mushroom ($16.80)
This would have been perfect if the salmon wasn't slightly overcooked (tasted a little dry).
Last but not least, from The Soup Spoon, they introduce 3 limited edition soups every 6 weeks with different themes and currently, they are having the Perth theme!!
The first "Perth" soup is the Aussie Barramundi Chowder with Dill!
This soup is gluten and egg free and calorie count of 310! :)
Taste wise was really unique as I've never tried a soup that contains ingredients such as this one before but the barramundi fish is low in fat and high in Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids so good for health!! (Y)
Main Ingredients: Barramundi Fish, Sweet Potato, Sweetcorn, Fennel, Dill, Spinach, Cream, Red Quinoa, Red Onions and fish stock made from Barramundi bones
Condiments: Dukkah (Roasted almonds, cumin, coriander, sesame seeds)
Next is the B.F.F. Stew (Beets, Fennel & Feta Cheese)
Calorie Count: 276
This soup is vegetarian and gluten free but surprisingly very tasty and helps in opening up your appetite before your main course :)
Main Ingredients: Beetroot, Fennel, Red Apples, Feta Cheese, Lentils, Tomatoes, Button Mushrooms, Spinach, Carrots, Celeriac, Mint, Cream, Thyme, Garlic and Onions
Condiments: Salsa verde (oriander, basil, mint, capers, garlic and olive oil) and feta cheese
And lastly is the Home-Style Cock-a-Doodle Soup! :)
Calorie Count: 208!!
Contains gluten and you may request whether you would like to have dairy in this soup
This soup is my favorite out of the three limited edition soups. The chicken brings lots of flavor to the soup. Love it!! <3 You need to try this soup :)
Main Ingredients: Marinated Chicken Thigh, Flat Noodles, Potatoes, Carrots, Celery, Thyme, Sage, Parsley, Lemons, Garlic, Onions and housemade chicken stock.
Condiments: Basil Pesto (contains parmesan cheese and nuts)
After we were done with the food at Soup Spoon Union, we were introduced to the Xin Wang Hong Kong Café for Round 2 :)

Sweet but at the same time not too heavy :)
